The lifestyle exhibition
In 2020 we launched a Pongal edition lifestyle exhibition in Trichy, against advice that the city had no buying crowd for premium and luxury products. We knew our city and what it spends. Trichy now runs four to five lifestyle exhibitions a month, and organisers from Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore now treat it as a real market.
Concerts
Nigal launched Premji's first ever concert, staged inside the city rather than on its outskirts. That response opened the door to working on concerts by Vijay Antony, Karthik and Andrea. Artists tend to head to the bigger cities. We push them towards Trichy instead.
