The advice at the time was that Trichy had no buying crowd for premium and luxury products. Nigal ran the Pongal edition anyway. Trichy now hosts four to five lifestyle exhibitions a month, and organisers from Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore treat the city as a real market.

A ten day promotion for an international airline's launch, run with full legal permissions at four of the most controlled public locations in and around the city. That work led on to the international balloon festivals in Chennai, Pollachi and Madurai.
The Decathlon marathon
Run end to end by Nigal: route, checkpoints, timing and sponsorship activation. Nigal introduced the circular format to Trichy, where the start line and the finish line are the same point, which makes the event easier for runners, families and spectators.

Holi Utsav
Nigal's signature public event, held in Trichy every March since 2024. It is also personal: a Holi event in Coimbatore is what ended the founder's first business, years before Nigal.
Concerts
Nigal launched Premji's first ever concert, staged inside the city rather than on its outskirts, and has since worked on concerts by Vijay Antony, Karthik and Andrea in Trichy.
Turf tournaments
Nigal was among the first to introduce turf tournaments to Trichy and to write down the rules they are played by.
Baker's Street
A home bakers and pastry festival held before Christmas and New Year, built as a format to travel across Tamil Nadu.
Nightlife
